Copyright and takedown policy

How to tell us that something on Loreglass infringes your copyright, and what we do about it.

Loreglass lets people upload their own files — PDFs, maps, images — and store them in their private library. We do not review uploads in advance. If you own a copyright and believe material stored on Loreglass infringes it, tell us and we will act.

Where to send a notice

legal@ocranthor.com

We read and act on every notice sent to that address. Our designated agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office is in progress; until it completes, this address is the correct one to use.

What a notice needs

So we can act quickly, please include all of the following. These are the elements 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) asks for, and a notice missing them may not be effective.

What we do

If we removed something of yours

You can send a counter-notice to the same address. It needs your signature, the material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, for the Middle District of Florida).

If we receive a valid counter-notice we will forward it to whoever sent the original notice and may restore the material after 10 business days, unless they tell us they have filed a court action.

A word on knowingly false notices

Under §512(f), someone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing can be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please be sure before you send one.

Trade marks and other rights

For trade mark complaints, or anything else that is not copyright, write to legal@ocranthor.com and describe the problem. The same address works for privacy complaints, though privacy@ocranthor.com reaches the right people faster.

Reporting other content

To report content that is illegal or breaks our Terms of Service — rather than infringing a copyright — write to support@ocranthor.com. Reports of child sexual abuse material are treated as the highest priority, acted on immediately, and reported to the authorities.
